CFO Jason Krell’s daughter, Lizzie, and son, Jackson completed a very good season with the Buck Hill Ski Team. Braving the winter’s multiple “vortexes,” both placed in every one of the team’s seven events this year.
“Welcome” to Lucas Jones, who joined Lawrence NationaLease (LNL) in Winona in February as a technician. Lucas likes hunting, fishing, anything with a motor, pizza and Harbor Freight Tool. We don’t know in what order.
Brent Proudfoot retired after twenty-five years of service with the United States Army and went right back to work at the NationaLease shop in LaCrosse. Brent and his wife, Sue, have a granddaughter Tessa. Of course, Brent hunts and fishes like most technicians, but he mentioned home improvement as a special interest. HGTV, here we come.
“Welcome Aboard” to Christopher Winter who began work as a technician in Winona in February. Christopher is also an outdoor guy, but he adds a fair amount of skill and art to his interests by making bows and arrows “right down to the string,” and by applying much smaller tools to gun-smithing.
Chelsy Sunderland began work as a technician at the LNL shop in LaCrosse just a month ago. She is a graduate of WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming and enjoys working on trucks “from bumper to bumper.” Probably what Chelsy likes best is being “the mother of a wonderful little boy named Bentley.”
Steve Schoh, LNL’s Rental Manager, entered the NationaLease Pro Football Contest. We don’t think Steve actually played any pro football last year, but he did pick enough season winners to place third among a nation-wide field. Steve took home an Apple TV and a year’s worth of Netflix selections. Steve probably won’t watch them – being in training and all.
Rochester Service Manager Don Whitehead took seventh place in a field of 128 pool shooters in the Minnesota Operators of Music and Amusement’s State Pool Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota. Don apparently has a good eye, steady hands and dedication to practice. That’s good. Don is going to Las Vegas in May to shoot in the VNEA International Pool Tournament.
Our very large “CONGRATS!” to Libby Byrne, daughter of Lawrence Transportation Company’s (LTC) Warehouse Manager Louie Byrne, who, at just ten years of age, played in her first Junior Olympic Volleyball Tournament in Rochester. Libby and her team won First Place in her division. Wow! Like Awesome!
Welcome to Dan Wolfe Jr., a new technician in Sauk Centre. Dan has a son and says he likes motorcycles and cars. That’s all we know about Dan.
Denny and Tana Hovde’s Grandson, Easton, seems to be quite happy with his new sister, Skyler Addison, who was born on February 11th. The grandparents seem happy too: they’re leaving for Texas to meet Skyler A.S.A.P. (Denny is LNL’s Used Truck Sales Manager.)
Happy Birthday to Cayden Alexander who was born on March 6th…all 6 pounds 11 ounces of him. Joe Kalis, LNL’s Western Regional Manager, sent us a photo and not a lot of information. Maybe that’s enough, Joe and Cayden seem to be getting along just fine.
Welcome to Jake Bielefeltdt who started refinishing and refurbishing used equipment in LNL’s “Parked for Sale” department in Winona. For fun? Jake’s a mudder and snowmobiler.
